FGSL Awarded the Amherst Area Chamber’s A+ Leader in Innovation Award

It’s no secret: shopping local feels good. As a community, it feels good to spend our time and attention with local businesses. As a business, it feels good to invest in local businesses and to help them find new ways to connect with an audience just waiting to find them.

And this month, it feels good to be announced as the Amherst Area Chamber’s A+ Leader in Innovation. Each year, the Amherst Area Chamber bestows A+ Awards to individuals and organizations that enrich the life of the community. These awards focus on work in business, education, and civic engagement across the area that the Chamber serves: Amherst, Belchertown, Hadley, Leverett, Pelham, Shutesbury, Sunderland, and the Valley as a whole. Individuals and businesses are nominated by the community, making this truly a regionally driven recognition.

The Leader in Innovation Award spotlights visionary entrepreneurs who revolutionize the way the Amherst area lives, works, and learns through their creative solutions and forward-thinking mindset.

With a theme of Harvesting Excellence, the Amherst Area Chamber will hold a dinner to honor the recipients at the the Student Union Ballroom on the University of Massachusetts campus on Nov. 14 at 5 p.m. The Feel Good Shop Local team will be there, ready to celebrate and applaud all of the 2024 awardees.
