Dark Grey Fedora with Labradorite Carved Butterfly and floral and butterfly motifs burned into the hat.

This Dark Grey Fedora has hand-painted metallic silver paint splatters covering the base to bring the effect of a starry night. A carved Labradorite Butterfly with flowers is attached to the  front of the crown.  Hand Burned Flowers are on the brim and a Butterfly is burned into the back of the crown; the burned designs are then hand-painted in metallic Gold to give some color pop. A flower-printed fabric is stitched along the brim of the hat. The same fabric is wrapped along the brim  along with a pink leather chord and a brown ribbon base. Silver Beads are strung through the band. 

Each Hat is a one of a kind piece of art made by Williamsburg, MA artist Rebecca Piermarini. Using mixed skills of painting, pyrography (wood burning to0l), torching, Stitching, beading, floral arrangements, and sometimes even felting these hats are transformed into a wearable piece of art.
