These handmade terracotta discs can be used as sugar savers (to keep brown sugar soft, to keep dried fruit moist, etc.) or as simple oil diffusers. They are stamped with potted cactus succulents. Handmade in Amherst, MA.

This listing for two pottery terracotta discs, stamped with potted succulent plants, to serve as sugar savers, brown sugar keepers, or simple essential oil diffusers. This is a beautiful way to keep sugar fresh, or to spread aromatherapy throughout your life. The pair comes in a white mesh gift bag with instruction card, ideal for gift giving! It would make a perfect stocking stuffer. Functional art for your favorite baker or plant lover!
For brown sugar: Soak the terracotta sugar keeper in water for 15-20 minutes. Shake off excess and seal it in a jar/ zip lock bag with your sugar. It will keep your sugar soft and moist, and can even help to rehydrate rock hard sugar! Repeat every few months for best results. It can also be used to keep dried fruit moist and fresh.
For essential oil: Add a few drops of your favorite essential oil to the pottery, and place in the bathroom, bedroom, car, suitcase, etc. Enjoy the aromatherapy!
Each sugar keeper/ oil diffuser is handmade in my studio from brown terracotta clay, and fired to 1928° Fahrenheit. It is not glazed so that it retains maximum absorbency.

All U.S. orders ship via USPS Mail in 1-2 days. Please select the mail class that works best for you, or contact me for more information.
You can expect to receive tracking information on your order when I prepare your order for shipping, along with a notice of delivery when it arrives.
GIFT PACKAGING: Please let me know if this is a gift. I am happy to include a card and a personal note with your gift purchase.
ADDRESS: Please set the shipping address to the correct destination; whether to you or a gift recipient. Please check the shipping details under your account purchases. If the details are incorrect, please send me a note. I will work with you as best as I can! But it is your responsibility to enter the correct address, and you will be responsible for any further shipping fees if your order needs to be shipped again.
PACKAGING: Pottery is fragile and requires a lot of padding to arrive safely! I re-use packaging materials whenever possible, and have a whole team of neighbors, family, and friends saving me bubble wrap, packing peanuts, and wrapping paper. I encourage you to re-use these materials again, or to pass them along to another shipper! You may also return packaging to me, at your expense.

SHIPPING DAMAGE INSTRUCTIONS: Please contact me immediately with photos of the damaged pottery and packaging. Please retain the damaged item(s) and packaging while a claim is processed through our carrier. It may be necessary to present them at the local post office. I will work with you on a replacement, shop credit, or refund.
RETURNS: If the delivered item does not meet your expectations, please contact me within 5-days of receipt to arrange for return. Please repack the pottery to arrive unused and in good condition. Return shipping, insurance, and tracking is your responsibility. If a piece arrives broken, it will not be refunded. It is your responsibility to file a claim with your shipping carrier.
