The hat is made with tightly layered and sewn-together palm leaves and offers UPF 50 protection. The brim meassures approx 3 1/2″ and it has an elasticized inner band. Each hat comes with an adhesive hat pad to help fit it to your head in the case that the hat is too big.
Each Hat is a one-of-a-kind piece of art made by Williamsburg, MA artist Rebecca Piermarini. Using mixed skills of painting, pyrography (wood burning tool), torching, Stitching, beading, floral arrangements, and sometimes even felting these hats are transformed into a wearable piece of art.
